Welcome to the 1st Edition of the "Emotions, Health, and Wellbeing" Seminar, presented as part of the PhD program in Psychology: Emotions and Well-being.

Join us for an enlightening afternoon as we delve into the intricate relationship between emotions, physical health, and overall well-being. Through diverse perspectives and expert insights, we aim to spark new ideas, foster collaborations, and advance the promotion of optimal health across various contexts.

As advocates for ongoing learning within our PhD community, this seminar serves as a platform for sharing ideas, exchanging findings, and promoting relevant insights for scientific research in this field.

The seminar is scheduled for June 5th, held in person at Auditorium 1 (FCH Building, UCP Lisbon Campus) in the afternoon. It will commence with a Keynote lecture, followed by a Round Table featuring speakers showcasing diverse projects promoting Health and well being worldwide. Attendees are invited to submit abstracts for consideration to present their work during the Poster Session, providing an inspiring platform for sharing ideas. Active participation in discussions, sharing perspectives, and networking is strongly encouraged to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing among attendees.

The main goal of this seminar is to facilitate a multidisciplinary conversation among researchers, practitioners, and students passionate about the intersection of emotions, health, and well being. Through exploring cutting-edge research, sharing innovative methodologies, and discussing practical applications across various contexts, we seek to enhance our shared knowledge and inspire future inquiry.

We extend a warm welcome to participants from diverse academic backgrounds, including psychology, sociology, medicine, public health, technology, and beyond. While the seminar primarily caters to students and researchers, clinicians and other health practitioners are also encouraged to join us in this collaborative endeavour.
